Vaihteeksi englanniksi, jaksanut kirjoittaa suomeksi

Hi guys!

It's been really, really long time since I wrote in here! Things have been going really smoothly and the main reason for my absence has been laziness, my apologies.

School has kept me super busy. When our last semester ended, before summer vacation, we, as in my class, had a chance to shoot a music video for my friends band. It deemed really much for me personally, since I was in a team of two, that wrote screenplay. There were few ideas for story which I thought were good, but as you can guess, nothing makes it first time. If you wish to see the music video, you can click here.

Now school has started again and I'm 2nd grade student. Only 1,5 years and I'll officially be a media-assistant. Fun, scary and exciting, but I think I can handle it.

First week of school, and I was asked to be part of a film crew that would record a casting session for musical. Sounded fun, but the toughest part was to drive to Turku which is approximately ~450 km (279 mi) from Kokkola, double that and you'll get the full length. Hahaha! The car that I was driving was really long and we had some interesting moments with it, but no scratches nor crashes. A personal victory, dare I say. My friend edited a small trailer of the casting session and you can see it from here.

Last week we had an interesting opportunity to do some player cards, teaser and making of for a local volleyball team, the Kokkolan Tiikerit (=Tigers of Kokkola), surprise surprise, I was once again destinied to be part of the screenplay team. But now I was also the president of Making of Team! Amazing. I've never had a team to take care of. We did great and the customer was really happy. I also did some interviews of the players and the executive manager of Tigers thought that I was so good that I should do more! Whoa!

I did some reporter work here in my school, so that helped little with the interviews with the players. Haha! I've actually been pretty "popular", since I've had this much projects.

Ikkunaostokset.

Tiedättekö sen tunteen, kun olette shoppailemassa ja näette jotain mikä miellyttää. Haluatte luonnollisesti ostaa sen, eiks jeh? Kuvitelkaa tilanne jossa saatte esitteen käteenne ja tässä flaijerissä on ne esineet joita haluaisitte omistaa. Menette kauppaan ja kysytte jotain tiettyä asiaa ja kauppias vastaakin, ettei sitä enää ole myynnissä. Näytätte kauppiaalle kohteliaasti flaijeria ja sanotte, että "Tässähän lukee, että tätä on vielä myynnissä". Kauppias katsoo hetken esitettä ja sanookin, että on unohtanut poistaa ko. tuotteen ilmoituksesta. Aika häijy tilanne eikö vain?

Näissä tunnelmissa olen ollut tämän muutaman päivän. Mikäli teitä kiinnostaa, että mitä tässä minun flaijerissa on ollut niin annan teille vastaukseksi, että autoja olen katsellut. Nykyinen vanha nuhapumppu sisältää kovasti vikoja ja näin kylmien ilmojen tullen on odoteltava jonnin aikaa, ennenkuin liikkellekkään pääsee. Ihan nättejä autoja on tullut katseltua, mutta yhteydenottohetkellä onkin sitten myyjä sanonut, että on unohtanut ilmoituksen nettiin tai auto on myyty jo jokunen aika sitten.

En kuitenkaan ole katkera myyjille sillä virheiden tekeminen on inhimillistä ja aina saattaakin löytyä paljon mukavempi menopeli lähempää ja mahdollisesti myös edullisemmin. :--)

Tänään on torstai ja syysloma tekee loppuaan vähän vähältä. On mukavaa päästä kouluun n. 2 viikon tauon jälkeen. Syyslomahan kestää viikon tai ainakin täällä kestää, mutta olin sairastellut joitakin päiviä ennen loman alkamista niin on taukoa ollut koulusta ihan hyvän aikaa.

Eilen tuli haettua postista MIB (Men In Black) I ja II. Vanhoja elokuvia ovat ja jatko-osakin on saanut huonommat pisteet ensimmäiseen verrattuna. Kuten olen joskus sanonutkin: jatko-osat ovat aina huonompia ensimmäiseen verrattuna vaikkakin poikkeuksiakin on. Poikkeus vahvistaa säännön. Eilen tuli katsottua Watchmen erään ystäväni kanssa. Se oli hyvä kuten viime kerrallakin. ;--)
